General information
Diploma seminars cover issues in the field of social sciences, with particular emphasis on advanced topics relevant to the disciplines of management and business.
The seminars address both the methodological and substantive aspects of preparing a diploma thesis. They aim to provide students with the skills necessary to independently design and conduct a research project.
The subject matter of individual seminars is linked to the research interests of the supervisors and to the specific profile of the respective study programs. Detailed information on the topics covered within particular seminars can be found in their individual descriptions.
Organizational information
The list of supervisors and the topics of diploma seminars are updated each academic year before the beginning of registration.
The diploma seminar in second-cycle (master’s degree) studies lasts three semesters and begins in the summer semester of the first year.
Registration for seminars takes place before the start of the relevant semester. Each student selects one supervisor. Admission to a seminar group is determined by the order of applications. A seminar group is opened once at least 8 students have enrolled.
Important notice!
Registration for seminar groups is conducted exclusively through the USOS system. This is the only way to enrol in a seminar.
