Scientific activity
I study the philosophical foundations of social and organisational practice, combining ontology, ethics, and methodology with decision theory, nonverbal communication, and management sciences. My work focuses on how philosophical concepts and models structure choices, norms, and tools of action.
Main areas of research include:
- ontology and metaphysics of practice: the structure of actions, roles, and “situations” in communication sciences;
- ethics of management and metaethics: criteria linking effectiveness with responsibility, justification of norms and evaluations;
- logic and methodology of research: rationality of decisions, logic of strategies, assumptions of game theory;
- semiotics and proxemics: architecture of nonverbal communication (negotiations, self-presentation, public speaking), symbolism of space;
- philosophical foundations of innovation theory: distinction between innovations and pseudo-innovations, responsible innovation;
- philosophy of management: ontological and ethical assumptions of organisational theory.
Current research topics include:
- logic of strategic thinking and informational rationality in management;
- proxemic and semiotic tactics in negotiations;
- ontology of communicative situations;
- normative criteria for assessing innovations and public policies.
Applications:
- ethical decision-making tools,
- body language and negotiation training,
- assessment of communicative and axiological risks in organisations.
Key words: ontology of practice, ethics of management, metaethics, logic of decision, game theory, semiotics, proxemics, nonverbal communication, responsible innovation, philosophy of management.
