Streszczenie:

Universities across the V4 join forces to rethink learning for the AI era. Through handson Thinkathons, teacher upskilling, and an open regional network, we equip students and educators with futureready, ethical AI competencies.

The project is cofinanced by the governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from the International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the Fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.

Why now?

AI is reshaping skills demanded by the labor market. Many universities still rely on traditional methods, leaving students underprepared. We address this gap with practical, ethical AIaugmented learning and resilient assessment.

What we do?

We pilot a student Thinkathon, codesign teaching scenarios with observing educators, convene employers, launch the Learning Accelerator Network, and publish an openaccess guidebook, Learning in the AI Age.

Who benefits?

Students, educators, researchers, employers and the wider public across the V4 region. The project emphasizes accessibility and balanced gender participation.

Outputs & Events

  • Kickoff + Onsite Visit (Pardubice, CZ): Pilot student Thinkathon with observing educators; employer roundtable; partners’ roadmap session.
  • Local Thinkathons & Teaching Scenarios: At least 8 targeted workshops across partners for 160 students and 40+ teachers; public reports in EN & national languages.
  • V4 Learning Forum (Pardubice, CZ): Public event to share best practices, launch the Learning Accelerator Network, and present the guidebook.
  • Guidebook: Learning in the AI Age: Openaccess publication with tested methods, case studies, ethical considerations and adaptable scenarios.

Project Calendar

  • Sep 2025 — Online kickoff & coordination
  • 4–5 Nov 2025 — Onsite visit: Thinkathon + Employer roundtable (CZ)
  • Dec 2025 – Jun 2026 — Local Thinkathons & testing teaching scenarios (all partners)
  • Nov 2025 – Nov 2026 — Guidebook development (living document)
  • 8–9 Sep 2026 — V4 Learning Forum (Hybrid, CZ)
  • Until Dec 2026 — Finalization, dissemination & network expansion

Learning Accelerator Network

A regional platform for educators, institutions and labormarket stakeholders to share tested practices, AI tools, feedback and collaboration opportunities. Join us to help sustain innovation beyond the project timeline.

W 2009 r. wydobyto i zużyto 62 giga tony minerałów, z czego około jedna piąta trafiła do odpadów.

Summary: Production of goods is related to energy use and GHGs emissions and is also responsible for the use of raw materials for production. 26% of total raw material consumption in EU-27 in 2007 was related to manufactured products, in USA it was 30%. In 2009 62 Giga tones of minerals were extracted and consumed, of which about one fifth ended up as waste. The shift to sustainable development is crucial to human survival. There is no doubt that economic activity causes a negative pressure on the environment. The circular economy model with material reuse and waste recycling is a possible solution to reduce resources extraction

The scientific goal of the project is to study how the main economic actor, which is the business sector, implements a concept of circular economy, and what are the main incentives and factors affecting companies. Circularity strategies include: refuse, rethink, reduce, reuse, repair, refurbish, remanufacture, repurpose, recycle, recover. In the project, it will be analysed which strategies and how are implemented by enterprises. The second part of the research problem is to gain knowledge which factors influence enterprises to implement circularity strategies, are they influenced by the economic factors as cost reduction or they are more influenced by formal regulations and informal norms. For the analysis, the manufacturing sector was chosen as the most resource intensive next to the energy production and construction sectors. The main research question set in the project is how the manufacturing sector is involved in the implementation of the circular economy concept, and if governmental regulations are effective incentives to do it.
