Anna’s research focuses on stakeholder identification and analysis. She developed a systematic framework for the identification of strategic stakeholders of a value-creating social system (e.g. an organisation, an institution, a project, or a city), called the Methodology of Identification of Strategic Stakeholders (MISS). This innovative methodological approach, which has been validated in empirical research, resulted in her PhD dissertation, academic papers, as well as research projects, including in the scope of international cooperation.
As a result of the research grant (Identification and prioritisation of social systems’ stakeholders with the application of the MISS methodology) funded by the Initiative of Excellence - Research University programme of Jagiellonian University, the MISS framework has been advanced and digitised and developed into a web application, which to the best of her knowledge is the first such non-commercial software for stakeholder identification and prioritisation.
She is currently conducting a project aimed at pre-implementation research, MISS - A toolset for stakeholder analysis in the form of a web application, together with consulting services, funded by the Centre for Technology Transfer CITTRU. It embraces proof of concept research towards a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) in order to produce a demo version of the MISS application adapted to the market requirements and preferences of external users, and capable of generating sales revenue.
The MISS framework has also been applied to preliminary research in urban studies and public management. Moreover, Anna’s expertise focuses on the application of the stakeholder approach to studies on CSR, ESG, and sustainable and responsible finance (SRI).
