Zarządzanie zaoczne III rok, poziom B

Uprzejmie przypominam, że kolokwium zaliczeniowe odbędzie się w piątek 13 kwietnia a kolokwium poprawkowe –  4 maja.

Zakres materiału – wg podręcznika str. 92-101.

Test składa się z następujących części:

Vocabulary (max. 25 pkt)

Grammar     (max. 10 pkt)  narrative tenses

Writing        (max. 15 pkt)

Minimum na zaliczenie – 30 pkt

Jak dotychczas, każda obecność to jeden dodatkowy punkt.

Temat na część Writing:

Write an essay in about 150-200 words keeping to the following plan:

Explain the term:”business ethics”.

Give examples of companies’ unethical behaviour.

Does it pay to be ethical?

Are you an ethical employee? (Justify your answer)

What can consumers, shareholders, employees do to change the unethical behaviour of some of the businesses?

Warunkiem dopuszczenia do testu jest zaliczenie  z poprzedniego semestru  (testu, oraz, w wypadku słabo uczęszczających studentów, sprawdzianu z czytanek bez względu na otrzymaną za test ocenę.)

EGZAMIN KOŃCOWY Z J. ANGIELSKIEGO NA POZIOMIE B2

Został wspólnie ustalony na piątek, 25 maja (ostatnie zajęcia) na godz.  16.00  Kampus, sala 0.303.

Drugie podejście w ramach I terminu:  sobota, 23 czerwca, godz. 9.00 (miejsce będzie podane w terminie późniejszym)

W sesji poprawkowej: sobota, 8 września, godz. 9.00 (miejsce będzie podane w późniejszym terminie)

Więcej terminów egzaminu nie będzie.

Do egzaminu nie będą dopuszczeni studenci bez zaliczenia (test, czytanki) W dniu egzaminu nie odbywają się żadne inne formy sprawdzianu.

Egzamin (max. 100 pkt) składa się z następujących części:

Reading (2 teksty)                   25 pkt

Grammar                                 15 pkt

Business Vocabulary                35 pkt

Writing                                    25 pkt

Na zaliczenie egzaminu min. 60 pkt.

TEMAT NA CZĘŚĆ WRITING:

(Based on Case Study, textbook, pp 74-75 + Listening 8.7, p. 163)

Slim Gyms, who owns and operates six health and leisure clubs in Manhattan, has advertised for a new General Manager whose task would be to boost sales and draw new members.

Read David Chen’s Profile and then write a letter to Directors, Slim Gyms discussing his strengths and weaknesses for the job. (about 200 words)

Name: David Chen, age 40

Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Diploma in Physical Education

Experience: Several jobs in various companies before joining a large university as Sports Administrator. He organized many sports events for the university.

Outstanding achievement: “I have a black belt in karate”.

Skills: Numerate, extensive knowledge of computer programs. Fluent Chinese and English, some Italian.

Personality/ appearance: Dressed in a dark formal suit but looked relaxed. Quiet, determined, polite and diplomatic. Asked many questions during the interview. Was rather shy if he didn’t know the answer to a question.

Comments: Believes Slim Gyms should increase its services, e.g. offer classes in salsa dancing, open a small boutique at each club selling sports equipment, etc. It should immediately cut costs by 10% in all areas of its business. Thinks his honesty is his best asset. Has an interest in all Eastern contact sports: judo, karate, aikido, etc.
